THE FOUNDER
What Informs Her Work

Tending to energy is devotion.
For Carla, it is non-negotiable.

Her foundation began in the arts, with formal ballet training under Balanchine ballerinas, Patricia McBride and Melissa Hayden, an early immersion in discipline and presence.

She moved into the world of fashion and media in New York, working within the press offices of Versace, Hermès, and Chanel, and at Condé Nast for Lucky Magazine.

These early experiences refined an already instinctive sensitivity to image, detail, and cultural nuance, sharpening an eye long attuned to beauty and the unspoken language of aesthetics.

Her work expanded into luxury events, where she operated across high-profile partnerships spanning fashion, fine jewelry, and hospitality through WSJ. Magazine and The Wall Street Journal, executing events across New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Boston.

Carla moved deeper into fashion through beauty, drawn to work that was immediate and creatively driven, working as a first assistant makeup artist on campaigns for Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, with editorial work for Vogue and Interview.

This chapter sharpened her awareness, deepening her relationship to herself and the way she cares for her own energy.

Working closely with the face and skin on set, her interest in skincare evolved, leading her to become a licensed esthetician and to work within a private studio in Miami with a discerning and often high-profile clientele.

Alongside her work in fashion and beauty, Carla developed a sustained practice in mindfulness, meditation, and holistic health, deepening her focus through Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at Brown University and a broader exploration of the mind-body connection through plant-based nutrition at Cornell.

Carla

This led her to Reiki.

What she encountered is powerful, but rarely held with the level of taste she embodies. That tension led to Maison Rituels Du Jour.

Sensitive, intuitive, and deeply empathic, Carla is attuned to the emotional and energetic states of others. Reiki first emerged as a personal practice, then revealed itself as a natural extension of her life's work.

It elevated the way she experiences herself and moves through the world, bringing greater awareness to how she holds and directs her own energy. From there, she began sharing it with others, moved by how deeply it had supported her in her own life.

She is a Reiki Master and teacher trained in the Usui Reiki Ryōhō lineage, with experience spanning the United States and London, and is a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals.

Carla is based in Paris, a move shaped by instinct and the recognition that her work belongs in a city where personal evolution, culture, and aesthetics remain deeply intertwined.

Her work brings together two worlds that rarely touch: the cultural intensity of fashion, beauty, and art, and the depth and intelligence of energy medicine.

For Carla, tending to energy is a devotion. It is non-negotiable. It returns you to yourself, sharpens your clarity, and brings you back into the world with a presence that is unmistakably your own. She holds it with you, in real time.
